A NEW course exploring the meaning of life will start in a south Durham village next week.
The Alpha Course will be run by West Auckland Community Church at The Well coffee shop on East Green in West Auckland. The free course will start with a taster session including lunch at noon on Monday, January 27.
The course will then run for ten weeks.
Pat Hunter, from West Auckland Community Church, said: “If you want to explore the meaning of life then this course is for you “No question is considered too simple or too hostile and the course is supported by all the main Christian denominations.
“Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, low key, fun way.”
